| Description |
Of the two white banded jadeite magatama (comma-shaped beads), the larger one is the biggest magatama, to have been found at Okinoshima. The jadeite magatama include five deep green colored magatama of jadeite that is thought to have come from Mt. Kasenzan in Izumo. The steatite magatama include two T-head shaped items, one with a clearly distinguishable edge in the middle, and six that are flatter. The oblong bead shaped like a jujube is a bead that has a shape similar to that of a jujube. Some of the steatite mortar-shaped beads are like smaller abacus beads and carefully crafted, and others are like degenerated versions of those, taking shapes like drums or cylinders.
