The jadeite magatama include five deep green colored magatama of jadeite that is thought to have come from Mt. Kasenzan in Izumo. The steatite magatama include two T-head shaped items, one with a clearly distinguishable edge in the middle, and six that are flatter. The oblong bead shaped like a jujube is a bead that has a shape similar to that of a jujube. Some of the steatite mortar-shaped beads are like smaller abacus beads and carefully crafted, and others are like degenerated versions of those, taking shapes like drums or cylinders.
