                | Description |

Metal fixtures that hang from the leather belts that run from the saddle towards the horse’s chest or hindquarters as lavish ornamentation. An engraved gilt bronze plate is affixed with a frame plate to a heart-shaped gilt bronze plate, and fastened with rivets. On the engraved plate, there’s a repeated pattern of a side-facing bird with the head of a man, with both wings and tail spread wide, accompanied by scrollwork, combining to create a magnificent design.
