Overview |
During the Sengoku period, because the Daigūji MUNAKATA Ujisada established a headquarters at Tsutagatake Castle, the 369 meter high mountain that towers over University of Teacher Education Fukuoka, became known as Mt.Jyôyama. One of the peaks of the Yotsutsuka Mountain Range, a special worship place for Okitsu-miya was established on a clearing at the summit in 1937. |
