The arc-shaped coastline between Kanezaki and Kônominato boasts a beautiful stretch of sandy beach dotted with black pines making it a place of scenic beauty. In places you can see Okinoshima in the space between Ōshima Island and Jinoshima Island. During the Edo period, a special worship place for Okitsu-miya was placed in a spot with a view of Okinoshima Island in what is now the eastern side of the mouth of the Tsuri River (formerly the western side of the river mouth). During the same period, a special worship place for Nakatsu-miya was placed at what is now the western side of the river mouth.
