Overview |
The property is an archaeological site of 5th to 3rd centuries BCE on the small island of Delos in the Aegean Sea. The island prospered as the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, considered sacred next to Delphi. The temple of Apollo built on a rock by Greek city-states, as well as the temple of Artemis, theaters, agoras, marble lion figures, etc. still exist as monuments of the golden years. |
