Overview |
Ritual sites are scattered in over ten places at the summit, mountainside and foot of Mt. Homan, a mountain at 830 m elevation located in the east of Dazaifu, which had been the ancient state's administrative and diplomatic base in Kyushu. Rituals on top of rocks are thought to have been held at the summit of the mountain. Large quantities of pottery, Nara-style three-colored small jars, glazed ceramics, ancient coins, etc. have been collected below the cliffs. |
