ムナカタ地域は、初期青銅武器の製作・研磨技術がないことから、武器の折損や刃こぼれなどの使用痕跡が残り、戦闘・祭祀の模擬戦が推測できる。沖ノ島出土銅矛は、その形態から北部九州製であり、武器形青銅器が集中するムナカタ地域が権力の象徴である銅矛を多数保有する。「イト国」・「ナ国」に元始王権が出現した後は、ムナカタ地域に青銅器が集積され、以東地域に搬出される。この北部九州系青銅器の東漸にムナカタ一族が深く関与する。 |
