Like the mirror with design of TLV shapes and band of birds and the mirror with design of eight arcs, this is considered to be one of the finest examples of completion in early Kofun period imitation mirrors. In the interior section, squares and TLV shapes are placed in correct standard distance, surrounded by swirled versions of tiger or bird designs. The interior section is ringed with bands of half-circles and squares, rings of serrated saw teeth, or comb teeth .
